Take a tour of the studio!

What is a personal trainer?

An alternative to the club mass training approach. Our trainers are highly skilled fitness professionals. We design a comprehensive lifestyle plan which includes resistance training, flexibility, nutrition and muscular balance. If you have a history of injury our trainers are qualified to use some therapeutic exercises singly or with the help of your physician or physical therapist. You learn proper technique and the reasons why each exercise is important--rather than a flurry of mindless activity that gets you little more than sweaty.
In the private comfort of our studio, your trainer will work with you 1 to 3 times per week based on your goals and fitness needs. Clients are not held to a contract, however, we want you to see results. In 3 months you can discover a new level of fitness, get a program that provides maximum returns for the goals that you set for yourself, and see physical changes. The solution to an unhealthy lifestyle is to establish a consistent exercise routine.
Want to workout with a friend or loved one? Working in pairs can be done if both people share similar fitness goals and abilities. It is easier to continue a fitness habit with positive support.
We can set up special classes in our studio for businesses or private groups. There is nothing like stretching, aerobics, balance circuit and/or yoga to reinforce team building and strengthen relationships.
Finally, we are available outside the studio for special occasions such as business promotions, group activities, company and private gatherings like picnics, spas and holiday occasions. It's always a fun surprise to have a short stretching or fitness session during or before such events.

How can a personal trainer help me?

Trainers begin with an initial consultation or interview. The purpose of this meeting is to gather as much information about your current health and fitness goals. If you are looking for us to do a special occasion or class, this is a good time for us to get an idea of your group dynamics and fitness levels. Individually, we will assess your fitness level in the following areas:
  • General health
  • Body composition
  • Flexibility
  • Posture
Based on the results of these assessments a trainer will make exercise recommendations.
Once recommendations have been made you can use the trainers suggestions to improve your own workout or you can employ the trainer to write you a personal program and work with you individually.

Will I reach my goals?

Yes! With your commitment, you can:
  • Decrease body fat
  • Improve posture
  • Increase physical strength
  • Increase heart strength
  • Lose weight and inches
It's all up to you! Patience, consistency and a commitment of 3 to 4 months usually leads to achieving your fitness goals in a supportive, effective atmosphere.
